Delete your account

Deleting your BANA-X Spelling Wiz account deletes your parent account, your children's accounts, all spelling lists, results, badges and devices. This can't be undone.
We cancel your Google Play subscription when you delete your account. If we cannot, we will tell you, and you can cancel it yourself in Google Play.
Delete it here
Log in with your parent email address and password, then type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
In the app
- Open BANA-X Spelling Wiz and choose Parent Mode.
- Go to Settings, then Delete Account.
- Enter your password, type DELETE and tap Delete My Account.
By email
Write to support@bana-x.com from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my account. We handle email requests within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your parent account (name, email address, country, settings).
- Your children's accounts, their results, typed answers, badges, streaks and SmartCents.
- All your spelling lists, their share codes and the example-sentence audio made for them.
- Your devices, notification tokens, reminder history, subscription status in the app and purchase records.
What we keep
- One audit entry with the time of the deletion and counts. It holds no account ID, email address or username.
- Sign-in attempt counters (hashed identifiers). They are removed automatically.
- The shared word audio library. It is filed under the text only and is not linked to you.
- Backups, for up to 7 days.
Purchase records are deleted with your account; otherwise we keep them for 12 months after a subscription ends. Every period is in the table in the Privacy Policy (section "How long we keep information").
